Where we can ship

We ship to addresses inside the United States only, and only where the operator of this store holds the licences that permit a direct delivery of spirits or wine to a consumer. Because those licences are granted state by state, the checkout validates the delivery address before payment and declines an order it cannot lawfully fulfil.Registered business details and alcohol licence information are available on request from customer support.

Addresses we cannot use

  • Post office boxes and general delivery, because a signature from an adult is required at the door.
  • Freight forwarders, parcel lockers and mailbox shops, which cannot verify the age of a recipient.
  • Hotels, offices and shared addresses unless an adult is present to sign and can show identification.
  • Any address outside the United States, including territories where direct consumer shipping of alcohol is not permitted.

Volume limits

Individual states cap how much alcohol one buyer may receive in a single order or over a period of time. The checkout applies the lower of the state cap and the store limit, and a basket above it must be reduced before the order can be placed. Splitting an order to avoid a cap is not permitted.

Dry areas and local rules

Some counties and municipalities prohibit the delivery of alcohol even where the state allows it. If a carrier reports that your address sits in such an area, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.

Adult signature, everywhere

There is no destination in our service area where a parcel may be left without a signature from a person aged 21 or over. The same condition applies to gifts: the recipient signs, and the recipient must be of legal age.

Weather and transport

We may delay or reroute a shipment in extreme heat or cold rather than risk the wine. A delay of that kind does not change the order total.
